What makes our New Year’s Party unique and different to other operators?
You will start your trip from our base camp on the Namibian side of the border – passports will thus be required. You will not require visas for South African citizens. View our Kit List and Frequently asked Questions for more information
For New Year’s we offer a choice of 3, 4 & 5 day packages. We can accommodate 5 groups of 36 before New Year’s and a further 3 arriving New Year’s eve. Fitness and paddling experience are not essential as full paddling instructions are given. Languid, carefree drifting is what this river rafting adventure offers. You’ll wallow under the toasting sun, sleep under the flawless stars, and relax under the influence of worriless days. The only decision you’ll have to make is which side of the boat you want to swim from.

We provide all meals from arrival evening to departure morning. All the wholesome meals are prepared on the river rafting expedition. We source all our fresh produce locally in Namibia. However, fresh produce & other fruits are sometimes in short supply. We thus suggest that the clients bring along fresh fruits & produce to bring along on the river.
Any special dietary requirements you may have should be specified on your booking form when booking your rafting trip. Our facility accommodates basic dietary requirements only, including vegetarian and certain Halaal products. Owing to the remote location, Kosher, gluten-free, and other specialised diets cannot be catered for. A discount is offered to those guests with specialised dietary needs who wish to obtain their own replacement products. We will supply you with our detailed menu for you to gage what replacement products you will need to bring.

Are you ready for the time of your life?
Picture this… Start your day with a cup of coffee, followed by a hearty breakfast. Give our guides the opportunity to introduce you to the basics of rafting, discuss the safety precautions and then you are ready to start an adventure you’ll never forget.
A beautiful mountainous, semi-desert region is what will surround you for the next few days where you can’t help but relax, unwind and forget about city life. On the river, you will experience somewhat raging rapids as well as relaxing flat water where there’s always time to float or sunbathe, enjoy refreshments, lunch on the riverbanks and have a game of Frisbee.
At the end of each exhilarating day you can enjoy sun downers whilst sitting around a cosy fire, admiring the beauty of the sunset. Be soothed by the tranquil flowing water of the Orange River, or enjoy midnight swims under the stars – that’s what memories are made of.
On the last day, you will be transported back to base camp, where you are welcomed by “civilization” in the form of hot showers and toilets.
Later, the aroma of a delicious lamb spit-braai and the sounds of our DJ lure you towards the party as we prepare to welcome in the New Year with dancing and new friends.
