Are you a group of students and want to go rafting? Join us for an amazing 3-day, 4-nights OR 4-day, 5-nights Student Special Trip on the Orange River! This is the perfect trip for groups of friends to book an exclusive group on the river for fun in the sun and to forget all the exam stress.

A valid student card is required to take advantage of this special offer.

What’s better than relaxing with the same buddies that keep you sane during the crazy studies of the past year? Come and unwind on the river!

Day 1: Travel to our base camp in Namibia and enjoy dinner by the stunning Orange River.
Day 2: Kick off your adventure with a safety briefing after breakfast, then set out on your Orange River adventure.
Day 3: Full day of fun in the sun and padding down the river.
Day 4: After a day of rafting, we’ll head to our takeout point and return to base for a lekker dinner.
Day 5: A relaxed breakfast at base camp before departing at your leisure.

Student Group Booking Discount

Pay for 5 people and the 6th person attends for FREE!

The discount amount will be divided among all confirmed participants. Once discount is allocated late joiners will not be eligible for the discount.

Trip Info

The costs includes:

all rafting equipment, guides, all meals from the arrival evening to the departure morning and camping on the first and last night at our Camp.

It excludes

arrival and departure transport from your house, chalet accommodation, camping gear, snacks on river as well as beverages ( alcoholic and non-alcoholic)

Food Menu

We provide all meals from arrival evening to departure morning. All the wholesome meals are prepared on the river rafting expedition. We source all our fresh produce locally in Namibia. However, fresh produce & other fruits are sometimes in short supply. We thus suggest that the clients bring along fresh fruits & produce to bring along on the river. Any special dietary requirements you may have should be specified clearly on your booking form when booking your rafting trip.
Our facility accommodates basic dietary requirements only, including vegetarian and certain Halaal products. Owing to the remote location, Kosher, gluten-free, and other specialised diets cannot be catered for. A discount is offered to those guests with specialised dietary needs who wish to obtain their own replacement products. We will supply you with our detailed menu for you to gage what replacement products you will need to bring.

Accommodation Options

Option 1 – CAMP:

You camp with your own gear for all evenings of the trip. Cost for camping is already included in costs for the trip.

Option 2 – CHALET UPGRADE:

You camp with your own gear for the nights on the river, but should you wish to not pitch your tent on our green lawns for your first and last evening with us at our camp, we have lovely chalets available to which you can upgrade. Availability is dependent on the dates you choose.

Please complete the rafting booking form and indicate on the booking form if you would like to upgrade to Chalet accommodation for the first and last night at the camp.

Option 3 – CAMP & CHALET PACKAGE:

This package is available to the ones in your group who does not want to bring their own camping gear for the evenings on the river and who also prefers to stay in a chalet for the first and last evening at our camp. Availability is dependent on the dates you choose.

We have a Chalet and Camping packet. This packet consists of:

First night chalet accommodation (to share- subject to availability)
Last night chalet accommodation (to share- subject to availability)
All camping gear for the days on the river.

The camping gear that forms part of this packet per person is as follow:

1x chair
1x sleeping bag.
1x yoga mat
all cutlery
2-man tent (to share).

All gear will be provided to you on the arrival day and will be available until your return to the base camp. All camping gear will be transported upon your own rafts -guides will not transfer any gear. Pitching of tents and camping gear will be your own responsibility. This is the basic camping gear requirements for on the river. If you require any additional gear, you will have to bring it along.

Camping Gear
There is no permanent accommodation set up on the riverbanks, you will need to bring your camping gear for the nights on the river.
