The River Rafters is a specialized white water rafting tour operator on the Orange River. We are the oldest river rafting company in South Africa & Namibia. We have been running Orange River Rafting trips for more than 25 years, dating back as far as 1985 from the same original Bundi Camp location in Noordower, Namibia. We enjoy an exceptional record regarding safety and competence.

Lodge and Camp Site

The River Rafters Camp is situated on the banks of the mighty Orange River. We are located a short 10km drive from Noordoewer – in Namibia. The base camp is limited to 22 en-suite chalets, 5 campsites, ablution blocks, communal kitchen, lounge and a big recreational hall. We have big lawns where you can pitch your tent and the kids can play. You can use the river to cool down on the hot summer days. Open-air safe parking is available for guests.

This is a peaceful tranquil haven to escape the normal daily grind of city life. It’s the perfect getaway for you to unwind and re-energise, while enjoying the breath-taking mountain scenery.

We offer rafting tours all year round, and we also have set dates of upcoming tours available for you to book online. Fitness and paddling experience are not necessary as our guides will provide comprehensive instruction.

Excellent value for money. A superb holiday for us used to camping. Food was well prepared over hot coals with a great campfire experience. Guide Paulie and his assistant Stanley did a superb job. Highly recommended for a family rafting camping trip.

An awesome trip in such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for a wonderful journey down the Orange River: the food was top notch and the guides really looked after us. It was truly a blessing to be able to share this experience with my family.

We enjoyed a 2 days trip with the River Rafters (Patrick and Tommy). It has been an incredible adventure for my family with our guides. Lunch and Dinner prepared for us at the river banks and spending the night in this vast and beautiful nature. 100% recommendable . They speak english and afrikaans and with Werner they have as well a german speaking guy on the Team. Last but not least, food is incredible!
